The ARFF station is proud to offer round-the-clock staffing by an exceptionally skilled and dedicated team of ARFF-certified firefighters. With their expertise, the Airport’s ARFF department stands fully equipped to deliver Index B services.
In addition to our primary mission of serving and safeguarding the NEW community, we offer valuable Fire Prevention Education initiatives and warmly welcome tours of our facilities and fire trucks. Our department is a part of the Louisiana State Firemens Association and a proud member of the Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Working Group (ARFFWG).
